The 2018 Waves Conference follows a hallowed tradition, but breaks new ground.

The 1996 WAVES Conference in Atlanta was a brave and visionary effort. It gave us, the followers of Sanatana Dharma from all over the world, a common forum. The times were tough. We have 50+ papers, a Poster Session, Plenary Talks, and 3 exciting and informative Panel Discussions. The Proceedings of WAVES2018 consist of full papers and essays that have undergone a multi-stage full peer review. Abstracts were reviewed by 3 authors each. Full papers submitted after abstract approval, were reviewed by peers as well, modified and formatted before inclusion in the program. Peer-Reviewed Papers Are Listed Below in Conference Tracks. Each is scheduled for a 20-minute presentation plus 10 minutes of questions/set-up.

Population 35,000.  Time Zone (August): US Central Daylight Time. Early August weather: hot (100 F). Mornings and nights may go down to 60s. Rain possible. A sweater or coat is recommended for indoor use because of air conditioning. Texans wear hats because of the strong sun.
Farmers Branch is about equally distant from the two airports: Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport  and Dallas Love Field (DAL).
